What is the lowest number of Points that I can get away with eating? I've been thinking that 18 Points is the lowest number that a person can eat, and I've considered eating that little. For one thing, I'm a little tired of food, at this moment, but I don't want to eat less than the lowest amount that a person is supposed to eat. The second reason that I ask this question, is that once I'm living on my own, I won't have very much money to spend on food. I'm more interested in London/Routemasters, the Internet, Television and Clubhouse Outings, than I am in food. Living a stimilating Life is getting to be more important to me, than eating a Hearty Meal. I weigh 180 Lbs, and I do admit that I've let myself go, over the last 10 Months and in more ways than one. The negative way of letting myself go, was turning to Sweets to ease my Pain and the positive way of letting myself go, was finding my Authentic Self and allowing myself to love the Routemaster. The bottom line is, that I've got to reach into my Dark Side which turns to Sweets, and beat the Devil out of that Dark Side in order to eat the lowest number of Points for my Weight, or the lowest number of Points that a Weight Watchers Member/Follower can get away with eating.

I just eat what I want. I have ten pints of beer in a week and I try to keep my eating down as much as I can and eat fruit. I do keep on walking and swimming as well. It seems to be working OK for me, but I haven't lost much recently.

I do a fair amount of walking. Somehow, there seems to be something missing. Perhaps, instead of spending my money on a Lotto Ticket for every Lottery night of the week and Scratch n Wins and put that money towards ice skating and swimming. I don't care about my sensitive eyes, anymore. I'm willing to brave 45 minutes of sore eyes, after swimming. There's also a Health Club that's not far from where I live. I can go to the local Pool three times a week, to the Health Club twice a week and Ice Skating twice a week. My dog's waiting to go for a walk. I'll post some more of my plans, later.

Have you considered "weight lifting"...I used to use the machines not free weights(likely to knock myself out with a dumb bell)....they say that building muscle burns more calories have a place over in USA that you can get "scholarships" if you have disability or are low income(YWCA)Do you have something like that?Limiting your calorie or "point" intake is may just slow down your metabolism and make it more difficult to lose any weight.I dont know much about the "point system" that you are using but you cant get a balanced diet by ONLY counting calories...you also need to consider getting enough Vitemins,Minerals, fiber and water.

I'm guessing that those WW points equal 100 calories. A person can get by on very little if they're not very active, but that's not very healthy. You should eat more and exercise more. I like to eat a lot, so it motivate me to exercise a lot.

Another thought.....I did a lot of "manual labor"....construction,landscape,factory(were I basically ran back and forth between three machines, not the kind where you stand in one place and watch a conveyor belt until you become catatonic)....this kind of work allowed me to eat as much as I wanted with out gaining weight and no need for a membership to the Y(also, slept great).

And ....congratulations on wanting to be healthy.....its a worth while obsession!! !
