SUNDAY FEBURARY 5TH, 2002:

SUPER BOWL XLVI IN INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA

(1) NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (AFC CHAMPIONS) VS. (4) NEW YORK GIANTS (NFC CHAMPIONS)--I don't know if it's going to even equal to one of the greatest Super Bowls ever played between these two teams, but I'll tell you this, like their last encounter four years ago, it's going to be one helluva Super Bowl. I see the Patriots avenge their loss in what otherwise would've been the first team to go 19-0 against the scrappy underdog Giants. Eli Manning will be an elite quarterback by game's end, but it won't be enough to get the Giants their second Super Bowl in five seasons. Tom Brady and his Pats team (with or without Gronk) will be victrious in IMO will be the first Super Bowl to go to Overtime!

PREDICTION: Patriots 30, Giants 24 in OT

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RECORD: 0-2
2011 PLAYOFFS RECORD: 5-5
2011 OVERALL RECORD: 160-105

Have to disagree...my Giants will win 31-23....Eli Manning is playing at or above the level of Brady, and the Giants have the better pass rush, receiving corps, and secondary right now. I love Belichick and Brady, but my G-mennn come first.

Cocky just like your team. Giants went 9-7 for a reason. They talk, talk, and talk, while Belichick is coming up with a gameplan to shut them down.

As Aerosmith once sang "Talk is cheap, shut up and dance."

31-27 Pats...last minute drive by Brady, TD pass, this time no time on the clock for Eli to do anything but cry to his soon to be retired brother after.

Also your secondary blows lol. It's your front four that's the concern.

I think you are confusing us with the Jets   ...the Giants hardly talked at all this year...we went 9-7 because we had the most difficult schedule of any team. Go back and check it for yourself. But it really doesn't matter if we won the division with 11 wins or 9 wins, because we earned our way into the playoffs ( with the win over Dallas in Dallas) and the subsequent victories over Atlanta, green bay, and San Fran. Also, the team is a lot different ( with justin tuck back in the mix) and a healthier group than it was midseason. The Secondary does not " blow"...antrell rolle and kenny phillips are very good players. The issue earlier in the year was not having a consistent pass rush to give the secondary time. now with JPP, Osi, and Tuck, we are healthy and ready to roll. Also, Why bring up Peyton?? Eli is his own man and he has proven he is an Elite QB.

My gut tells me the Giants, but my heart says the Patriots. Normally I would jump all over the team with the good defensive front and hot quarterback, but this is a different league now, and the Pats defense has stepped it up a little, and Brady hasn't forgotten about 4 years ago. I'll probably be wrong and the Giants will win, but the fact that people are expecting the Giants to win concerns me.

Have you seen the past couple weeks? Tuck, Rolle, Cante, Pierre, Manningham etc?

Yes...rolle ALWAYS talks..i listen to WFAN all the time, so im up to date when they go on Mike Francesas show or Boomer and Carton. They aren't talking or saying things they shouldn't be saying..saying " we expect to win" is pretty self explanatory when people ask them who they think are going to win...belichick makes everything so damn tight, which is their method. Big deal. They aren't talking like the Jets have done where they didn't do anything and yet lashed out at other coaches/teams. Giants are not attacking the Patriots as a team.
