Migraine / headaches => Drink (water) !
Hi !
Many aspies have migraines, I just want to share with you what worked for me, you should give it a try.
From the age of 10-12, I had always had serious headaches, often occurring at the end of the day (but sometimes even waking up in the morning having one). It happened 3 to 4 times a week on average, and at least every month it resulted in a serious migraine (and me wanting to bang my head against walls).
After 10 years of pain, I noticed that my headaches pain was the same as the hangover one, which is mainly caused by ... dehydration.
So I started to pay attention to the fluid quantity I would drink. And, after a few months, I could establish a clear correlation between the amount of water I would drink and my headaches frequency.
And now, I know precisely what quantity of water I need, I never have any headache anymore (except when I can't drink anything, in which case I can become very aggressive and stressed, especially when I feel that a headache is coming in ... yeah, I control it, but it's never far away)
This is so stupidly simple that I can't imagine I've suffered for so many years without thinking of it ... (and no doctor has ever asked me if I drank enough ...)
So please, give it a try, I'm sure I'm not the only one in this planet whose headaches are only caused by dehydration.
Also avoid drinking too many diuretics (coffee, alcohol ...) and hypertonic drinks (sodas).
And tell me if it's working for you
I recently read some medical articles online about the correlation of migraines and dehydration, and the cure recommended was, yes--DRINK MORE WATER! I am not subject to migraines myself, but have had occasional headaches, so I do sympathize. Although this may not help all migraines, as some may have other causes, according to the articles I read, drinking more water does seem to help many sufferers. I am glad they found such a simple fix for many sufferers, and it only costs the price of water! Here's to free, and effective pain relief. Drink up me hearties!
