So, what do you guys make of this? I KNEW my lineage was evolving in the right direction with it's slim shortness! Who needs strength when you've got superior machines!?

Yes we are gifted in some ways for sure. Every body type has advantages and disadvantages though, it's to balance us all out, can't be complete win... Must have some lose in the mix too.

The strongest guy I ever saw in real life is fairly short, but he weighs around 270-280 lbs. He can bench press 405 for 10-reps mainly because of short arms.

I used to know a short wimpy looking guy with small arms. He could bench press 450+ because of good leverage(genetics). Several people at the gym commented that he didn't look very strong too.

He was also about 40 years old at the time, so he'd obviously been lifting weights for quite awhile.

They would be the exception rather than the rule, assuming they are short. Statisticslly, tall people do make more money.

Good to know those things about short people though.

Lol, this thread title made me laugh. I'm short and have done extremely well with boxing, running and 'soccer' I'm curious about the broken bones part. I'm naturally reckless and have broken countless bones over the years, curious how many would of broken if I hadn't been doing more extreme things. I've also noticed just how quick my reaction times are over the years. Nice to see short people really do kick ass

Because we all know exceptions invalidate rules.
