Hi there,

I was wondering what kind of physical reactions people with AS often have to stress.

I have been under a lot of stress lately (mostly big external things which are being sorted as quickly as possible), and have been getting increasingly unwell. I was this way a few years back and when I went to the doctors, they all ended up asking "have you been under any stress lately?".

I have been fainting on a regular basis, shaking, getting pins and needles / numbness mostly in the extremities but occasionally on a full half side of my body, nausea with occasional bouts of actual vomiting, get headaches, am sleeping badly, get twitches in my hands, have been more distant and clumsier than normal, am completely unable to make the simplest of decisions when faced with anything even slightly different and am always getting colds. Last time I was hallucinating as well but I don't think that's started again yet. Any clues? It seems too extreme for just stress from what I've read, but maybe it's closer to normal for people with AS? Or is there an underlying problem being intensified by the stress?

Either way I'll keep trying to keep the stress to a minimum. Are there any hints people have for de-stressing that I can try?

Thanks. I'm kinda new on here so I hope this is the right place to ask and it hasn't been covered too many times before :)
