I heard that you can reduce the symptoms of sensory processing disorder by avoiding processed food, doing minimal exerise and getting plenty of rest.

What lifestyle methods do you use too help sensory problems?

i dont really believe most of the claims around processed foods, but to each their own.

i myself use the desentification method to cope with my sensory issues; i deliberately expose myself to things i can just about handle, for just long enough to not meltdown, training my tolerance and meltdown suppression, after i feel neutral around that situation, i up the ante and go for even worse situations.
using this method, i am able to be at rave parties without melting down (for a short period of time, and it still drains my energy to nothing is left, but i survive without a meltdown)
