I recently got my prescription switched from Zoloft to Wellbutrin, and I'm wondering if this means I'll be able to drink grapefruit Perrier again. I love the taste of grapefruit, but I know you can't eat or drink it when you're on Zoloft, and there were a few times where I forgot and drank things with grapefruit in them and ended up feeling funny. Oops.

Like any of these questions, a physician is the person you should forward such an inquiry, not an internet forum.

That's what I figured. Is there anything I can take to block the enzyme in grapefruit that causes these interactions? I miss my Fresca and grapefruit Perrier.

I read that you should consume the same amount of grapefruit each time & at the same time every day & take your psych meds at the same time every day so they will be absorbed in the body the same way every day.

http://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html

Drugs.com interaction checker says there is no interaction between Wellbutrin and grapefruit juice, but there is an interaction between Wellbutrin and nicotine as well as Wellbutrin and alcohol.
