Noncompetitive (currently) figure skating and weightlifting.

Do ride bikes occasionally, but not enough to call myself a "cyclist" really.

Getting involved in triathlons was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

I figure skate, trampoline, swim and go to the gym. I wish I was still in martial arts and pilates, but I just don't have the time.

I've been thinking of learning some jiu jitsu for self defense purposes. Any tips?

I don't know much about ju jitsu, as I did Tae Kwondo and Judo. I wasn't a big fan of Judo, but loved Tae Kwondo.
My best advice would be to embrace the philosophy. We were always taught that fighting should be a LAST resort. It was also about respect, and being moral.
Also to just have fun! The training can be hard at first (I ripped my feet to shreds one warm up, and you ache a lot to start with) but it can be great fun.

Martial arts. They suggested it for me, since they say it helps people to focus more and be more calm and relaxed.

AMERICAN football kicks everybody's butt.

Though I never got my uniform, I just lifted weights with them lol

Gonna try TnF.

Occasionally swim but nothing real.

I'm a hockey goalie. A dream position for an Aspie if I say so myself especially since a good chunk of goalies are fellow Aspies as well.

For the last 1.5 years bodybuilding. I've tried martial arts and football but I've noticed that team sports (>2 ppl per team) aren't my thing at all... Was a goalkeeper for 15 years and it was enough teamplay for me.
