Who has had anchovy pizza before? What did it taste like and did you like it?

I have and I spat it out immediately.

I love anchovies on pizza. But then again, I'll also eat a whole can of anchovies for the hell of it.

Other people are lame, don't listen to them, anchovies are great.

OH!

Another thing I do is I'll eat dried anchovies from the Asian market like potato chips.

Just had a slice... and I had the same reaction as Tequila. It was good for a second though, then blegh! I took them off and the pizza was okay though it was REALLY salty, so one slice per sitting is tolerable but no more. I'm not against Anchovies since they are regularly used for adding flavor to pizza sauce, and plain small fish are tasty, but as a topping I have to say it is not good.

I love anchovies. I was so scared to try it at first because everyone kept saying how horrible it was. It's quite salty and I love salt. Yum! I haven't had it in years, though.

I love the taste of salt but I can't eat anything with eyes on it while I'm eating it. They're staring at me. They also make me think of the little minnows I'd catch when I went swimming in a lake as a kid.

I have tried anchovies in a pasta dish when I lived in Europe and it was good, but I have never had the nerve to try anchovies on pizza due to the reputation that they are bad on pizza.

I love anchovies, on pizza or off! Salty and umami. Mmmmmmm...

I like anchovies on pizza. I don't think it would taste good with other salty meat toppings though. Maybe with vegetables and eggs.
I've had pizza with eggs in UK but never in the US.

Also, it seems that not a lot of people know anchovy is the key ingredient in caesar salad dressing.

YUCK!

Honestly... just yuck.
