Other than diuretics, what are other good ways to get rid of water retention? I really hate taking the diuretics. I've been drinking lots of juice and water, but it keeps coming back. It isn't as severe as it was. Is it my diet? I've pretty much cut Pepsi and stuff, I don't snack, and I've been eating small-portioned meals 4 or 5 times per day. I forgot to include that I am fit, but it's just the water weight that is driving me crazy.

Vitamin C is a natural diuretic. Caffeine also acts as one. To alleviate side effects from like, furosemide, take more potassium. But maybe just start with 500mg vitamin C and see what happens.

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to buy some tomorrow. Do you know if exercising could also cause edema?

Uh, not sure one way or the other. Generally high salt intake is the only thing for me that causes any bloating.

Hmm... Maybe salads would be a good idea for now. Thanks again.
