From reading through the topics, I've seen that driving isn't very popular :P but I thought I'd make this anyway, I know there's the remote car thread but thought this was different! I've been driving karts since I was 11, I started racing when I was 13, so been racing for 8 years this year (I turn 21 this year.) I've driven cars around car tracks too, a Caterham 7 and a Lotus Exige S. Sounds like shameless advertising but I apologise, but my racing channel (I have an onboard camera on the side of my crash helmet) if anyone's interested: My racing

I got into motorsport by watching the F1, I got quickly obsessed with it so I watch the F1 regularly :).

Does anyone else have an interest/do motorsport?

I had a pro stock that I used to run in the quarters. Long, long time ago. Thirty years or so.

Awesome Videos Chrisicus! I enjoyed watching your driving. That's some pretty gutsy passes you made there!

I got interested in motorsports as far back as 2 years old. I first started watching indy car racing at 3-6 years old, then started watching stock car racing when I was 8 and now I enjoy F1, actually.... I enjoy all forms of motorsport! I got into radio control car racing when I was 9 years old racing RC indy cars in a church parking on the outskirts of Milwaukee (a city located in the middle northern part of the USA) i have been doing it ever since. I have won 4 nationals championships and I have been to a world championship race in Japan.

We would love to see your racing adventures on wrongplanet.

Is that drag racing? 1/4 mile stuff? It looks pretty fun actually!

Thanks :).

That sounds awesome, you must be good at it! I've seen radio control car racing, didn't realise how fast they were, the amount of concentration you must need is crazy! Seen how much some of the best ones are too!

I have an interest in but don't 'do', though I'd probably lose my life to iRacing if I had a good enough internet connection.

I was interested in F1 as a kid and now also follow NASCAR, Indycar and V8 Supercars. Looking forward to this weekend but I wish the forecast in Monaco was for rain!

I'm not a racer but I've been obsessed with NASCAR since I was three years old. I think about it all the time and it's about the only thing I ever talk about.

I used to have motorsport aspirations. Then I realized it'd cost me a ton of money and that I sucked at driving due to my NVLD. I love cars, though. Especially 80s-90s Japanese imports.
