What is this thing you call morning?

If I am up at that time, my idea of breakfast is coffee.(read: motor oil)

If I do eat food, it is whatever is available at the time.

If I wake up in the morning, coffee, fried egg and cheese sandwich (2 eggs) on bread toasted in the leftover oil from cooking my eggs (fry my eggs in olive oil.) Maybe boiled potatoes if I have time, too. Sometimes oats.

Scrambled egg mixed with onions, peppers, and crumbled sausage. I add hot sauce in the pan like Sriracha while cooking the sausage.

Plate that and add a little salsa on top with a dab of sour cream and some basil.

My breakfast usually includes at least two or three of the above. I love cauliflower, kale, , turnips, and jalapenos especially.
And zucchini. Gotta have the zucchini.

when i wake up, i usually eat some bread with scrambled eggs while reading the paper.
if i have to hurry (becouse i'm about to be late for an appointment or whatever), i take a peanut butter sandwich to go, and skip the paper.
i dont eat much of anything else, aside from snacksaussage snacks and dinner; most of the day, i survive on coffee and water

I'm not a big breakfast eater, but sometimes on the weekends I'll cook breakfast for the family and eat some. That usually consists of most or all of the following;

Scrambled eggs with cheese and fried eggs for those who prefer them
Grits (not instant or quick, real grits)
Fruit cooked in water and sugar till it's falling apart. Usually dried apples or peaches.
Sweet milk gravy
Sausage or bacon or fried ham
Biscuits
Canteloupe if it's in season, if not then a sliced red tomato with mayo, salt and pepper on it
Potatoes fried in bacon/ham/sausage grease
