Has anyone ever started feeling the effects of a flu shot exactly a week later after getting one? I got mine last week, and today (almost to the day!) I've been feeling crappy....my right arm/shoulder hurts, the right side of my neck hurts a little, I'm tired and not in my usual peppy mood...is this normal, or something more worrisome?

I started feeling the effects within a few hours, and it took about a day to go away. It's been a week since then, and I've had no further symptoms.

It is not likely that the symptoms you are feeling today are associated with a shot from a week ago. Vaccine side effects take place with in a few hours to 1-2 days.

Thanks for your input, Fnord and nebrets....I slept for a couple hours and took some Advil, and a few hours later, I feel fine. Maybe I was just sleep-deprived. :D
