has anyone tried the gluten casein free diet?

Yes. For me personally, it was a complete waste of time. My shopping bills increased too, as specialist items are invariably quite expensive.

I have Celiac Disease, so GF is a medical necessity. Before going GF, I was in chronic pain all the time. I hadn't had a normal bowel movement in years. After going GF, it was like night and day. Pain stopped and people even said they could see color in my face again.

I tried going Casein free as well, because I wanted to clear up some brain fog and I was seeing if maybe Casein was the culprit. From my understanding, sometimes the immune system can mistake Casein as Gluten, because they look very similar on a molecular level. It didn't work at all; the brain fog remained after several weeks. The products I found were a bit more expensive, I had to go out of my way to get them, and they didn't taste that good.
