I went out to eat today and ordered a dessert that had a bit over 1,000 calories and I ate it. My total intake for today is 2,440 calories. I was panicking and I yelled at everyone in my house except for my cats. Then I looked up my calories that I should eat to maintain my weight or in my case my clothing size and turns out that I need 2.781 calories a day. Next time, no dessert!

You are still under the limit so I don't see what the big deal is. If you are that worried about calories, work out to burn off the extra.

it is NOT "calories in, calories out." a calorie is NOT a calorie. some calories are better than other calories. you get the picture.

I would really not worry about counting my calories, I'm a runner weighing 86 kg but I eat what I like and run it off to maintain my constant weight. Sounds like hard work to work out the calories of everything you take in! Have a dessert from time to time and don't feel guilty about it! :D

I have suffered bulimia and anorexia

I am now at my peak health and how I have achieved success is by concentrating on eating healthy items I enjoy and not obsessing over amounts or anything else, and combining it with being as active as I can possibly be, even to the point of riding my bicycle to get everywhere
