Pain in Thumb joint

My joint between the thumb and forefinger really hurts me, I have this injury for a few years, I suspect that it happened when I fell on the ice, was supported with a hand to keep from falling on his face, then I experienced the injury kneecap, I had this surgery, then no one cared about the thumb,
The pain in thump stopped, so it was no issue, but my joint in my thumb has hard clicks, recently the pain has returned, so made my hand x-ray, but all is bones are ok.

I don;t knew why my thumb joint pain and made all this sound

get a second opinion from another ortho specialist.
