This could be Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue syndrome. I pray to god it's not. Anyways, earlier this year (in March maybe). I started complaining to my new doctor, since I had just moved to a nearby town out of my parents' home, about feeling sleepy all the time. Did some blood work, echocardiogram and stress test. Nothing wrong with my heart, which is great. They did say that my D was low and I have about a month and a half left of D boosters to take. One a week. That's not making me feel better. In fact, I feel worse now than when I first complained. I'm frequently achey and sleepy. I even have problems thinking sometimes. So far he's cut my protonix for my stomache in half, which is fine. I only need it once a day, now that my stomache has gotten better. I just know I can't be 100% without it. He wants me to bring this up with my psyche doctor, because the meds I'm on can cause myalgias and sleepiness. He's having more blood work done for what I forgot. I'm taking Celebrex for the pain, I took it once and I felt no different. I'm kind of stressing out about it, because it's just taking too long to figure out what is going on. The not knowing what it is could be the worst of it and the stress is probably making it worse anyway. I just don't know what to do. I walk to therapy group every day and I'm ok with that. Today I walked home and did okay, but it just seems to get worse. I worry that I'm going to not be able to go to and from places as easy anymore. Another thing, I can't even carry boxes of things to or from home, even if they aren't that heavy. Well, I can, but it put an aweful strain on my shoulders. Bags, too, if they're a certain weight, but again they don't have to be all that heavy. I have resorted to pulling a wagon, which was mostly for going to the laudromat.

Edit: I also have dry mouth issues. I'm sure there's got to be a good solution to that aside from swishing Biotene and drinking A LOT of water.

This is most likely because of anxiety or the meds you take being the wrong ones.

I doubt the anxiety. I've been very good for years and I haven't felt real anxious since I moved into a place of my own. No extra. I never felt this way even when I was crazy anxious so many years ago. As far as meds, I've been on these for a long time, but who knows.

Are you feeling down? Depression can cause fatigue and muscle aches.

Also, do you spend time outdoors? Because of your geographic location, it might be good for you to be tested for Lyme Disease, even if you don't recall being bitten by a tick. (In the nymph stage, they can be really tiny and hard to spot, roughly the size of a poppy seed. Certain skin rashes are tell-tale signs of Lyme infection, but not everyone gets them).

You mentioned dry mouth ... do you also have dry eyes? Sjogren's Syndrome can cause sicca, pain and fatigue, but is much less common in men than in women.

Good luck!
