can thinking of women make you stupid?

Sometimes when I think about women, like I'm thinking that I should try to find someone to date or something like that, it feels like I become stupider when I think about that. Anyone else felt this or is it just imagination or delusion?

Nobody? I swear I can feel this. When I have desire for women and think about acting on it, or am acting on it, I can feel my brain becoming lighter. I think in some religous text I read that people can be punished for just thinking sinful thoughts, thinking about committing a sin, or planning to commit a sin, in this case fornication. I also think I read somewhere that just looking at a woman with lust is already adultery. Oh yeah, and that lust is a sin I've seen in several places. So, far all I know this might be a very real phenomenon. I'm not sure that everyone can feel it though, but it seems like I can, a little.

Maybe your hang ups are actually what's making your brain light or foggy or whatever. But for what it's worth, sexual excitement does release opiates into the body, that in itself isn't a bad thing. Unless of course it becomes an addiction. But if you are truly worried about it you could always join a religion that encourages celibacy and gives you meditative exercises to train the mind away from thinking about sex.

If religions not your thing there is also quite a lot of occult stuff that focuses on transmutation of sexual energy.

I think it's quite natural for a man (and a woman?) to be distracted by the thoughts/feelings of sex and/or relationships etc. You could call it "being stupid" because your logical mind is not working very well when you are in that state. You could make very illogical/stupid decisions when you are distracted by such thoughts/feelings. I have seen some people be blinded by them. They can't see what's obvious. Some of them lose a lot before getting out of that stupidity. If it's just temporary sexual urges, you can easily get out of that stupid state by masturbating. Your sharp logical mind will come back instantly.

If it dumbs you down, avoid it.

Circumstances strengthen.. As men it's great motivation to have a nurturing woman around, but don't expend your energy on something that does not give back. Male-female relationships generally necessitate male energy expended towards a female, and females to find it rewarding. That is a relationship that works.
Aside from the abstract, as a very acute point, testosterone lowers (it concentrates in the nether areas) and blood flows to that area as well.

Do not put them above you and/or wet your pants (metaphorically) at them. It's bad for both sexes.
