Hey does anyone else diagnosed with autism/Aspergers play roller derby? I'm quite surprised how much I enjoy it given my hatred of being touched, touching others, interacting with others, dislike of loud noises etc. It's bringing out the best in me though! I'm still at rookie level as I haven't passed minimums yet, but my team reckon I'll be playing next year!

Nope, looks fun though. I cannot for the life of me stand on roller skates. I can roller blade though.

Hey there,

I play roller derby and we have just started a facebook group to help support spectrum skaters there. The sport itself is amazing but also at times it can be hard. If you are thinking about joining/still play please come join us over at the group. We are called spectrum skaters
