i heard black seeds and black seed oil can help with a variety of ailments, including anxiety..... Prophet Muhammad ordered his people to take black seeds, and some modern medical sources suggest taking black seeds....Do they work? I have already tried taking omega 3 fish oils, and drinking herb tea, but i can't make tea at school, and i can only take so many omega 3 fish oils before school without throwing up or getting a stomachache..... do black seeds work? I have lost faith in medications, but of course I'll still take them since I'm only 16, and don't have a choice, and it's better than nothing, and all help is appreciated.......

Do you mean Nigella Sativa or Bunium Persicum?

If the former, then its seed oil extract, Thymoquinone, is under research for its potential to affect human diseases, although valid clinical studies to date remain insufficient to understand its potential for clinical efficacy.

If the latter, then there seem to be no valid clinical studies at all as to its efficacy in treating anything.

Most of what is published about either one is based on hearsay and unsubstantiated testimonials.

Don't waste your money.

If they state "Black seeds", assume it's snake oil which relies on a placebo effect.

If a specific type is given, there might be some (anecdotal) evidence, but none have been officially verfied (yet)
