OK, so in a few minutes, a friend will bring OJ, chicken soup, mucinex and herbal tea.

I am popping shots of DayQuil, and that is not helping out nearly enough. I just wanna lie on my couch and wait for this to pass.

Any ideas on how I can make myself more comfortable? I have a sinus headache and I am coughing a lot, I also have a fever currently.

Take 30 or 50mg of Zinc along with 150mg Magesium Citrate a day. Zinc is the most important nutritient for immune function.

Make sure you do NOT mix different acetaminophen containing drugs and accidentally overdose on them. Many people will take cold medications and Tylenol and accidentally consume toxic levels of Tylenol because they dont realize most cold medications contain Tylenol as well.

Try holding an icepack to your back of your neck, it may help with your headache.

Eat meals with fried onion and garlic. They both have strong anti-viral properties.

you are doing all the right stuff. on the zinc suggestion, lozenges work best as they prevent the virus from binding to your tissues. i second the caution about acetaminophen. especially also, make sure you wait long enough between dayquil doses.
