Diet and Improved symptoms?
Does anyone here try to eat healthy, and if you do, do you notice any change in symptoms for the better?
I have a mild form of aspergers, but I notice.. that things tend to get better when I stay healthy.
For example I drink a lot of water and herbal teas, and quite a bit of fruits and veggies. I try to exercise when I can, and barely drink soda anymore. Part of it might be age and experience, but everything bad associated with aspergers ( organization, socializing, wierd patterns of thought, conentration, mood etc.) kind of goes away or is severely lessened by healthy life choices.
I know people talk about "elimination diets" for autism, and while I don't see the need my self for such a restrictive life style change, it seems there is something to nutrition as a balm, if not a cure for this condition.
Has anyone else noticed that or tried it?
