what do you mean by genuine? in the way they play, in their personalities?
considering that one, if you dig deep enough, is known to give to many charities and has helped on more than one occasion to pay for all operation & medical treatments of severely unwell children without using any of it for self promotion, while the other has just been found guilty of fraud at Spains High Court and sentenced to 2 years, I don't think it is much of a competition.
on the pitch I think they are both brilliant, but I do think that one was born with immense natural talent and has the whole team around him drilled to perform in a particular way to maximise his ability and has done so since he was a teenager, while the other is just a machine, an incredible physical specimin, who pushes his body to the absolute limit through an obsessive desire to win, and has made himself into the best player in more than 1 country taking his underdog country through a major championship to win against all odds.
