It is not normal to feel suicidal because of myopia. You should talk to a psychologist or other mental health professional about this and get some help with emotion regulation and coping skills. This can be part of your autism difficulty with executive functioning and there are skills you can learn to cope with this sort of thinking.
Also you absolutely do not have macular degeneration at 19 y/o after looking at the sun a few times. This is a disease that occurs almost exclusively in elderly adults which mostly distorts the central part of your visual field and makes it difficult to see details. My grandmother has this and she copes by using large font on her computer/phone and using a magnifying glass. It's not the end of the world. She can't drive but she rides a motor scooter to the local grocery store and generally has a very happy life. It's all about your attitude towards the problems that arise in life.
You should go see an optometrist about your vision. You probably just need glasses/contacts. They can also do a test to rule out macular degeneration and can answer questions you have about vision. You don't need to see an ophthalmologist for this. They deal with more complex eye issues and perform surgeries on the eye.
