Today I had a wrap and the edges of the beef looked fine. Once I bit into it, it was tough as a hiking boot and was solid brown with a green speck. I only swallowed the edge of it. I’m worried I’ll get an illness from it and have to burn my stuffed animals like the kid in velveteen rabbit.

My stuffed animals are my only friends. So don’t tell me they are just stuffed animals and I can buy new ones. I have over 60 of them and they are all very precious to me.

Spoiled food can make you sick, from a slight queasy feeling to projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea. This usually happens within 24 hours. If a day or two passes without anything bad happening, you are probably okay. Keep the Pepto handy, just in case.

That isn't the sort of sickness you would get from biting into that spoiled beef...most likely it might make you feel a little sick and you might throw up or get some diarrhea or something temporarily. But its not going to make you so sick you have to be quarantined and have any of your items you were in contact with burnt so there is no need to worry for your stuffed animals.

I don't think there's any sort of foodborne illness that could be contagious from items that you touched while sick, so your stuffed animals should be just fine no matter what happens.

You might get food poisoning but that is NOT contagious unless you share the food.
