funny i think this is related..some food and drinks affect aspies differently, gluten wheat etc...but also remeber aspies can have hypotonia, which is lose ligaments so aspies can be very flexible people, i have dislocated my knee 9 times, lose ligaments and tendons, including the ligaments that control defacation and urination...combined with an aspies inability to know when we are hungry or need to go to the toilet...this can appear to be a laxative affect but we focus so hard on what we are doing we dont know when we need to go to the toilet and when we do go, it is "suddenly" urgent.
I agree with you donkey. I don't know when I'm hungry or when I need to go to the toilet. I find that I cant tell when I'm hungry or full. I will go to eat my dinner and then want more food after. I don't get that hungry feeling like others do.
I use to have a problem with the toilet because I could never tell if I needed to go. Sometimes I would have to go running for the toilet and sometimes the worst would happen
. Don't seem to have that problem as much now.
I find bread causes a laxative effect with me, get those horrible cramps. I find gluten free products great.
