Hi, I always wanted to get into a steady game of tennis, and have a circle of very accepting friends (also I don't manifest ASD/HFA signs and such to the same degree that I used to), as it's ideal for us due to not being in a rough macho team sport, and it's VERY good for building physical coordination, stamina, releasing endorphins, etc. So has anyone played a good game of tennis, have you had a lot of experience doing so, and how did you find it?

I played a lot as a kid. It was OK, in that I didn't particularly mind it; the rules were straightforward and I was coordinated enough to be able to keep a rally going most of the time.

I couldn't speak as to its effect on fitness; I didn't have that in mind when playing. I guess it's somewhat more energetic than going for a walk, if you're playing socially (as opposed to competitively).

I loved tennis! Growing up in Australia, sport was everything! I would use the primary school tennis courts on weekends with a close friend, and in High School, it was part of the curriculum in P.E & H. After I moved to Melbourne, as an adult, I’d play regularly. My brother-in-law(from The Phillippines) now represents Aus on the world circuit and am incredibly proud of him!). I tend to mostly do aerobics, cycling(indoors exercise bike) and swim now that I’m in England, as well as loads of walking. Tennis was soo good!
