My birthday is next week and I’m getting sushi. I spoke to my mom and ended up having to take my Ativan because I’m afraid to eat anything. My mom tried to tell me that it’s my birthday and I should eat what I want on my birthday.

I have dreams about food a lot and wake up feeling nauseous and guilty.

Sushi is a healthy! I think you should have some. It's your birthday!

^ Similar to what BTDT said, sushi is probably one of the healthier things you could choose to eat. You deserve to have something nice on your birthday and sushi is a fine choice, especially if you're feeling guilty about eating.

Remind yourself that you did a great job with losing a lot of weight and you'll continue your journey until you feel healthy and happy. You're trying to do something good for your well-being and future, not punish yourself.

"sushi" is too vague

You have to be more specific

Please check the nutrition label

A couple of years ago, checked the nutrition label of inari sushi

Six pieces, twenty grams sugar

A kit Kat, 21 grams sugar

Shortly thereafter, stopped eating sushi

With the proper choices, sushi can offer a very high protein to calorie ratio.

I have a size 2 figure and an accurate scale in my dining room.
I eat sushi when I feel like I ought to lose a little weight.
My favorite is the tuna roll you can find nearly everywhere.

Ika (squid) and Umeshiso are my favorites. I skip the soy sauce and usually just have pickled ginger on the side.

Inari sushi, which has fried soybean curd, is an example of a vegan food with a high protein content.
The high sugar content may not look so bad given the typical alternatives in a vegan diet.

What other canned vegan foods are useful protein sources if you can't get fresh food?
