when I'm on or it's around the time of my period I turn into a completely different person ( a really nasty one ) I fall out with
friends, my anxiety gets really bad (I was diagnosed with acute anxiety but it gets worse around this time) my energy is drained for the entire month and I get suicidal thoughts and relive the traumas (and I have a lot of them)

Apparently there is a tablet that can fix this but I'm too afraid to take it and I don't know why I just know it makes me scared

I don't know who told you and what tablet they meant but it's clearly a false advertisement. There are no pills that fix people's lives.

Have you considered counseling or sending PMs to anyone here on Wrong Planet?

IMO, either could be a good start.

I think you might be taking what that wording too literally. I think the OP meant that the med would help prevent or reduce those negative mental effects, not that the med would suddenly magically change her life around. Meds do not magically fix lives but some meds can help some feel better & function better so they are more capable of doing what is necessary to improve their own lives, or the meds can help hold em together so they can prevent their lives from falling apart. I'm not sure what type of med the OP is talking about but there are some meds & some other forums of birth control that can stop women from getting their periods. There are also some antidepressants that can be increased or taken around that time to sorta counteract some of the mental affects of that time. If the OP is looking for input, it would greatly help if she tells us what med it is & what it is supposed to do.
