Yesterday I went to specsavers for a contact lens trial and getting the contacts in my eyes was challenging enough.

Getting them out however was impossible though so I needed a member of staff to get them out for me. By this point my eyes were bloodshoot/swollen and fiddling with my eyes anymore would put me at risk of an eye injury.

Do you agree by now they should have have invented contact lenses that are easier to take in and out?

At my first time, it took me 2 hours to take the lens out of my eye.
Training makes a master.
You can try alternative methods, I never could do the "pinch" but sliding the lens towards the inner corner of the eye works for me.

I use contact lenses almost exclusively for sports.
