They work on different mechanisms so there's no way to directly compare them.

Advil is an anti-inflammatory, Tylenol works by blocking pain signals.

Well idk the difference in the strenght levels but they are two different classes of medicine that work differently in the human body.Advil is a NSAID and a anti-coagulant.I think both are OTC.

I tend to get migraines and usually take... Advil. - Well, the (...) was because I often try to overcome the headache naturally, taking nothing for it. Not always helpful. Rest is often what I need. Anyway, thanks for explaining about Tylenol pain blocker effects vs Advil.

Advil is better for inflammation.

Tylenol is better for fever.

Many people now take them together. And doctors recommend that, too.
