A couple nights ago I got myself 5 12 packs of diet sodas. I’ve been drinking them constantly lately. I tell my parents that they have literally no calories but they still think it’s “not good for me”(I really don’t know exactly how bad it is for me, tbh).

Drinking those instead of pop with calories is one thing I do, but I still eat high calorie foods(Mac and cheese, pizza, fast food)more often than a doctor would advise me to. I’m not very disciplined in that sense.

The intensely sweet flavour causes your body to respond just like they're sugary, only there's no sugar so it slowly messes up your body's insulin responses.
