My moms height is 5ft1 or 2 and I think my dad is 5ft10 range. I only grew to be about roughly 5ft8.

Now because of my autism I have always had trouble sleeping as a child. How many inches shorter could I have been from my genetic potential because of my lifestyle factor?

Would bad sleep habits as a child or teenager effect your final adult height though?

One parent is 62 inches tall, the other is 70 inches tall.

You would expect the offspring to be somewhere in the middle. Maybe exactly in the middle.

The mid way between both parents is 66.

So you would expect the offspring to be around 66 inches tall (five foot six).

you're five foot EIGHT. So you're already two inches taller than you have a right to be.

So WTF are you complaining about?

I have a uncle 6"3 (est. 250llb; fat). A cousin 6"5( obese though) Most my cousins are slim, 5'10, 5'11. I'm 6'1,slim build. My father, is about 6'2 bulky. All my paternal uncles are over 6 foot. also bulky, bordering on fat. My maternal uncles range from 5 foot something, 6, 7 maybe, the other is around 6'2. Mother is 5'6. My female cousin is quite tall aswell. Both my grandmothers were 5'6 or slightly above.

Alot of it is excess calories in childhood and adolescent. I always loved food. I still wish i was taller though. LOL. I wouldn't mind being 6'4 . The perfect height for a male. (women do love tallness) But i'll live.

If they do, there is nothing you can do about it now.
