I was 13 when I had my wisdom teeth taken out. I guess I was pretty wise at such a young age.
But seriously, why does the human body have to have so many parts that cause us little more than pain and suffering and they end up having to be surgically removed? Apparently we did need them when we were a "lesser" evolved species, but not anymore. And naturally our bodies haven't evolved so that we're no longer born with them so they won't give us any more trouble.
We have a number of vestigal items in our bodies which are no longer required but cause problems.
These things can take hundreds of thousands of years to disappear. Already there are some people being born without wisdom teeth.
Magz if they are causing you pain speak with your dentist and if needed get a referral to an oral surgeon. Misbehaving wisdom teeth can cause ongoing issues but it some cases don't need to be removed.
