I'm thinking about becoming more physically active now that I'm rapidly approaching middle age. I've never been an athlete at all, but was a halfway decent swimmer in my youth and enjoyed Badminton the few time I've played it; I've heard that Badminton is more demanding than Tennis and enjoyed it more than Tennis, even though I've only played either a few times.

I definitely lean towards swimming, but it can have some overhead in time and locations.

Have you considered pickleball? It seems to be a popular, potentially social, and potential to play well into older age.

And of course, any frequent activities—especially walking—or movement are always good.

Which one would you actually do consistently and which one do you like the most? If you haven't been active, pretty much any exercise is a step in the right direction.
