I've just recently developed vertigo, its quite awful, I sympathise.
There are therapists which specialise in treating it, but I've mostly followed the youtube advice of the exercises while I wait for the specialist appointment.
There's several different types so you have to find out which type you have to best treat it.
I've found out blood pressure can have quite an influence, so I guess stress can be a factor with that too and it makes sense to try and reduce stressors if you can.
There's lots of tips on the internet, so maybe check it out and see what works best for you.
It hasn't happenend to me from prolonged stress but I've known some people it has. Your right that blood pressure can be majorly involved. Some meds that lower & regulate blood pressure are sometimes prescribed to help people deal with stress & anxiety like some beta-blockers & Clonidine. I also heard of Valiume being prescribed for vertigo. If the vertigo last for an extended time or is a regular ooccurrence I would recommend talking to a doc.
