So I kept seeing commercials for this stuff.. the "Nivea My Silhouette! Redefining Gel-Cream" that's actually just a gel. It's supposed to make me look less fat, I think. Firmer, less cellulite, all that jazz. I don't know if it's working or not. I think just the rubbing it in part might help anyways, so even if the goo itself doesn't work, I could think it has. I still feel pretty fat. But I gained massive amounts of weight while I was on Seroquel, so I'm still working on getting that off, too. This gel stuff is, I think, supposed to help make some of the flab (not the fat itself, but maybe the skin?) go away. I know it probably doesn't work, but it says it has a "bio-slim complex" and.. I'm weak. I know that goo I rub on my skin can't make me thinner, but it might be able to make me look thinner, right? Would there be this huge market for skin-firmers and stuff if they didn't work at all? The stuff is kinda expensive, but not as expensive as the really expensive ones. Just expensive enough to make me a bit uncomfortable.
Anybody else used it?
Should I have posted this in the woman's issues forum?
(maybe I'm just hoping someone will post back and say like "OMG, after 4 weeks was 5 dress sizes smaller!" or something.. lol)
I know, logically, some gel with white tea and anise extract that I rub on my thighs and butt and upper arms probably isn't going to do anything.. I'm just a sucker for stuff like that, I guess..
