What is everyone's favorite fitness equipment?

I like the elliptical machines for cardio.

As for weights, I like the bicep curl, ab crunchers, chest press, shoulder press, and leg extension.

Tim

Me too, I like those best. My parents have one at home and I use it a lot.

I also like dumbbells (the ones that are adjustable) and the abdominal exercizer.

I like using a treadmill. I set one up in front of a TV so that I would be able to walk whenever I watched a show.

i used to have a rower and an exersize bike until the flywheel bearing went bad and the hydraulic cylinders leaked,

in middle school i fell in love with the nordic track ski machine until they got rid of the weight machines in exchange for computers

in high school i liked the stepper until i wore it out and made it hiss with each step i made, the lat pull down and leg press as well as arm pullover (works shoulders and rotator cuffs)

after high school, fell in love with hydrualic resistance machines again (safer and no weights to drop) but since no room for a proper machine like those used in curves circuit training im limited to the closer (at least with a closer i cannot cheat and make it look like im doing a good workout) plus no women to yap at you or machine change every 30 seconds.

my favorite economical equipment is my skipping rope: $ for use, there isnt anything better out there.

in terms of strength training, i have grown fond recently of one-handed dumbbell military presses, but id like to have access to a barbell so i could complement it with deadlifts and barbell rows (and two-handed military presses). without equipment, i like russian twists a lot, but havent done any in quite some time.
the gym machines i favor are the lower back extension machine - maxed that one out easily - the calves machine and the leg press.

my favorite allround exercise equipment probably is either my heavybag (plus bandages, gloves,...) or thai pads. for more solitary moods, i prefer the heavy bag, but if the social batteries allow for it, i prefer having someone drive me with pads, as its so much more intense and variable.

I only have one old dumbbell with those plastic Orbatron weights( 4 2kilo plates) and 2 brand new Everlast plates(2 10 lbs plates) . I should upgrade to a better dumbbell bar since the one I have feels like it could break when I put the max weights on. Still gives me a great workout.

My feet. Walking on a 3-mile path around a lake.

Gardening equipment. Rake, lawnmower, hand saw, tree pruner, etc. Yardwork is great for fitness. Carrying bags from the yard to the curbside is a great workout in itself. Never weighed the bags, but they must weigh 20- 30 lbs each when filled with leaves.

I like to punch a punching bag, not really excersize "equipment", but still helps you excersize I guess.
I also like to use my all time favourite, MY LEGS!
