Great message there. You murder animals and get rewarded with million dollar contracts. This guy should rot in jail.

He didn't just make one mistake this is something vick did for years. He even tossed house pets into the ring to get ripped apart. He hung dogs, drown them, shocked them and only God knows what else he did that we'll never know about. Vick was treated like the second coming by his old team shower with praise, money and the owner treated him like he was a long lost son. He tossed that all away he should never play football for money again. Hell I don't even like that he gets to still breathe air but thats not my call, but what is that no eagles games will be on my tv nor will I ever buy anything from that team again.

I think this is yet another example of how we often treat animals better than humans in this country. I love animals, dogs in particular, but he did serve 18 months. That's not exactly a slap on the wrist. What about Leonard Little, DE on the Rams? He killed a woman while driving drunk and got a 90 day sentence. I think the league suspended him for 4 games. Several years later, he got busted for drunk driving again and the charges were reduced to a speeding infraction. No one was out holding signs against this guy. I think 18 months was an appropriately harsh sentence and he served it. What is the point of a justice system if those who are freed are never really freed? Now if does anything like it again - by all means lock him up and banish him from the NFL.

Aren't you being a bit extreme. He was cruel to animals (dogs). So what? Dogs aren't people.

Well Mr Vic did something wrong, while it was not a crime against humans it was a very grave matter becuase with premeditation and forward planning he did torment animals. I think that he should hang his head in shame for what he did. He might have served out his jail time but I do not think he has paid his debt in full.

Diagnosed under the DSM5 rules with autism spectrum disorder, under DSM4 psychologist said would have been AS (299.80) but I suspect that I am somewhere between 299.80 and 299.00 (Autism) under DSM4.

I consider that a crime can be an act of rebellion against the whole of society. It can be something which is offensive to us all, it may also undermine the fabric of human society. If I try to lead a decent life and do the right thing, then if I observe someone doing something wrong and then going unpunished. Then it might encourage me to break the rules.

By my reasoning "Mr Vic" has committed a crime against not only the dogs but all the people in his community.

I suddenly noticed that I was paying too much attention to things like football. i've kinda stopped reading sports sections spending money on merchandise watching a bunch of guys run around playing a kids game. I'm not a vegetarian so I'm not in the peta group but, I can find other ways to spend sunday afternoons this fall besides watching football. It was one of those things i guess growing up where I didn't like to play football didn't get along with jocks but i would memorize all the football stats (autistic trait) I've decided to shake the addiction and find more in life.
