This is a guy whose life is comprised of one single interest... COACHING FOOTBALL. I know the same could be said for most professional coaches, but Nick Saban takes it to another level. He gets up at something like 3:45 every morning to plan his day, and he's famous for being one of the most passionate recruiters in the game, which means that he is working hard year-round, not only during football season. Also, he rocks back and forth constantly during every press conference... he never smiles and has a very "focused" demeanor. He is known to be more of a cold, straight-to-the-point kind of coach than a "people person" kind of coach. I think of him as the Stanley Kubrick of coaching, and we all know the rumors about the late great Kubrick.

Anyone who closely follows NCAA football care to comment?

He might also have ADHD. He said he would say with the Miami Dolphins after a 6-10 season, and then a few days later, he was being introduced as Alabama's head coach. :P

Haha good one! He should have explained his condition to the media... maybe they wouldn't have torn him apart so badly.

I don't know specifically since I don't pay attention to him or alabama football. But I wouldn't be surprised if he did have it. You kind of have to be a "football nerd" of sorts to know all the ins and outs and so on of the game in order to do well.

I don't really blame him for skipping out on the dolphins either, it was clear they were a sinking ship and needed new 1st round or free agent QB and RB to even think about doing better than 6-10
