Not to be mean to anyone, but does anyone here even exercise at all?

I like video games, there fun, but its all anyone talks about in Game, SPORTS, and FITNESS. See games is only one tittle.

Sorry this is sorta a rant, I just want to be able to talk sports or something of that nature. I am tired of being the odd one out. I think I might go for a run now.

Well if anyone does want to talk sports, I have another post in here, or we could just go off this.

SORRY FOR RANTING, LOVE TO ALL MY GAMERS!!

Games are easy to talk about and discuss.

What kind of threads are you expecting to see pertaining to fitness?

Your not odd at all, I'm a gym nazi, i go to a gym 5 days a week, and usually take walks on top of that with my dogs, im obsessed with getting a six pack, and obsessed with being in shape. I love going for a run/walk, been doing it since I was 12.

wow thats really cool, and really good for you. I wish I had that much drive to go to the gym. Mainly I like to just go on walks or runs and do a core work out at home. I am not one for working out in front of strangers.

There are many things you can talk about, like a good work out routine, or what you do to work out, whats your favorite machine at the gym, do you lift weights, do you like the gym or running outside, etc.........

We could also talk about sports, like what sports do you play, what sports do you like to watch, did anyone watch the super bowl, does anyone watch college basketball, things of that nature.

FOR ME ITS EASIER TO TALK ABOUT AND DISCUSS SPORTS!!

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Yes, physical activity would not be all that great for you, well not unless you gained some weight.

I have a question for you Strapples, why do you always focus on your physical disability......? Every time you post something you seem to focus on the negativity of your disability and it seems that you just post so that people know that you cant do anything because your in a wheelchair. I would love to talk to you about something that you do like sometime not just how you don't like things because you cant do them.

Yes I do remember that, and we talked about bowling for a while on that thread, but the convo died out due to the fact that I don't know much about bowling. What are some other things that you are interested in?

I play soccer, as well as bicycle riding (long distance, and mountain). I also follow the pro teams nearby as well as soccer teams in Britan. (Go 'Gers!)

I think it's tougher to talk about. With video games, there's lots to discuss, but with sports it's either people agreeing, which gets boring, or disagreeing, which usually leads to nasty arguements.

Another thing to consider--this is an internet discussion board, so it would stand to reason that most of the topics would revolve around something computer based. It would be like debating the merits of XP vs. Vista while in the huddle of a football game!

Kidding aside, if there's anything you'd like to discuss about soccer, baseball, mountain biking or hiking in the Northeast U.S. (cool trails, accessible spots, etc.) or anything else, then I'm all in for it.

not much else in sports unless you count pinball machines as a sport and yes it does do good for your entire arm to do pinball unlike just button mashing you are using your intere arm,..

I was on my college's basketball team until I had a falling out with the coach and got too busy to bother with it. I can't even watch basketball anymore, especially with the way the Mavs last 2 seasons ended.

What about that Super Bowl though? That was a really good Super Bowl, right down to the wire. Did you like the result?

Yeah, I like to discuss sports, but I don't much feel like discussing my workout habits. My college campus is huge and on this big hill, so I walk a lot. Plus, I'm in pretty decent shape (although I'm kinda skinny), so I'm not too concerned. That was an awesome Superbowl though. I don't mind the Pats, but I really didn't want them to go undefeated. I also really like Michael Strahan. The only reason I would have been okay with the Patriots winning is because Junior Seau deserves to win a Superbowl. He was on those lousy Chargers for way too long.

Yea i use to be like that, i hate going to the gym, the noise, the lights, the ppl, my gyms open 24-7, so me and my bf go late at night, when theres no ppl and there music is lower, therefore i can do everything i need to do! I use to always work out at home as well, i have a bowflex, so i love working out.

Did you like the results of the supper bowl........

I was not disappointed with the result, I was sorta going for the patriots but I was not upset when they lost. But man that 4th quarter talk about a good game of football. That almost sack that Eli Manning got out of was the turning point for the Giants. I mean really talk about a confidence boost.

I NEVER had the proper motor skills to play in sports. I was always very clumsy at sports, especially when it involved throwing and catching. Plus, if I run, my lungs really begin to hurt and I start coughing and hacking for a while afterwards. I prefer to walk.
