Does anyone here take american ginseng? I believe I have been drawing great benefit from it. It seems to balance my attractions and aversions in a way that makes me get "stuck" on fewer things. In a sense, I think it makes me MORE aspie rather than less aspie so that I can "do my thing" (systemizing everything like crazy!) without hesitating as much. I'd imagine ginseng effects NTs differently.

I like ginseng. It gives me energy. It helps me concentrate. It helps me to be more focused on my surroundings instead of drifting off into my thoughts. I think it makes conversation easier too.

Those are my memories of it from long ago. I haven't taken any within the past few years.

I love Ginseng. My favorite kind is called Tienchi, which means pseudo-ginseng. It comes in both steamed, which is warming to the body, and raw, which is cooling. I buy them in Asian markets.
