I'm looking for people interested in enduro, motocross, or trail riding to meet during the weekends either at Sand Lake, the Upper Nestucca OHV area, or Brown's Camp.

I just bought a '93 Yamaha XT350 dual-sport, and after nine years of being away from the dirt, I'm itching to pull a few knack-knacks again. I managed to get out for a four hour ride this afternoon, but the freezing temperatures, along with the mud and snow, made any serious jumping or hard riding out of the question.

Once it warms up, I want to get a group together to meet up regularly for some hard trail riding, and perhaps a few races at the amateur MX courses near Albany, Eugene, or Salem.

Any takers?

You're telling me NO ONE on this site within the state of Oregon has a motorcycle, and/or has no desire to go riding on a regular basis on the weekends?

Guess that just leaves me.

Have you looked at the "Games, Sports, and Fitness" threads? 99% of them are about video games. These kids never see daylight.

People who play video games are uniformly under the age of eighteen, and in addition to this, 0% them ever go near windows. They need blood to survive. The lush, succulent blood of baby boomers and Generation X'ers.

Well, I figured the "forum type" of people would obviously not respond, but seriously, there have to be SOME Aspies out there, even not in this state, who ride! I mean, what is enduro, time trials, and motocross? It's riding a set course as fast as you can, and while you're interacting with other people, between the isolation of the riding gear, all the noise, wind resistance at speed, etc, you're "protected" with a nice, comfortable buffer between you and the other people.

And it gives those with technical leanings, like Aspies, a chance to use their intellect to race-tune their bikes! It's PERFECT for Aspies!
