Loss of blood flow due to muscle tension and bad posture can cause this. I would get it checked out.

I used to get prickling sensations of my scalp - it was a prickling with a tightening.
I worked out it was probably allergy related.
Maybe to do with adrenal exhaustion - due to dealing with food allergies. Food allergies through the body out of synch.
Get it checked by the doctor to rule out obvious potential causes.

I get the type of sensations described occasionally below my several-inch-long incision scar where I had gall bladder surgery ten years ago. I assume in my case it is indeed nerve damage from the operation or perhaps even deadened nerves trying to reactivate?

Thats my seizure clue! Trippy...

Random tingling can be a sign of almost ANY neurological problem... def. get it checked out by a neurologist. They have these little cattle prod things that test to see if your nerves are sending the signals right... it's not as painful as it sounds, and took like 20 mins for me.
