Mason is 5-1 now!! ! My parent's college Illinois State University ISU is dominating MVC 6-0!! !! Isn't anyone else excited about the NCAA Basketball at all?

What league is George Mason in?

In NCAA, there are conferences instead of leagues because of many different colleges and universities in the United States. Mason itself is in the Colonial Athletic Association which contains 12 members.

Illinois State University on the other hand is in the Missouri Valley Conference. So in other words, different schools are in different conferences. UVA and VaTech along with Maryland and North Carolina are Atlantic Coast Conference members.

Mason is 6-2 right behind Hofstra
Illinois State still on top of the Valley with a 8-0 record (a very good possibility of going all the way to win the Big Dance)
Mason has a chance to repeat their Cinderella run in 2006 if they can beat Hofstra and Hofstra loses some games while Mason wins some.

Is UMBC is the same league as George Mason? Or is it Towson?

First Colleges are in conferences not leagues (Ivy is the only league but it is a college sports conference anyway) and Towson is in the CAA.

UMBC is in the America East Conference.

Also we're called George Mason but more known by our nickname Mason as well.

Mason beat Radford last night and an insult to injury towards is that they lose also to William & Mary and James Madison (Two other CAA Teams). Mason is now a game behind Hofstra since the Pride lose to UMASS tonight.

Illinois State Redbirds remained undefeated in the Valley with a win over Illinois-Chicago. Illinois State will more than likely will win the bid for the tournament in March. Mason needs to maintain their performance through the season into the CAA Basketball Championships and win the championships to gain the automatic bid into the tournament.

Mason is back on top in CAA with their win over Tulane 60-52 and it was crazy game since Former Mason Player Will Thomas was there. I try to take a photo but he caught me and a friend in the act so I didn't and I felt bad about that since without his permission. Anyway Tulane had three starters fooled out in the last minute which was so crazy to happened.

I'm hoping that my school wins their conference championship this year & gets to go to the tournament. It's a bit of a down year but it's also a down year for almost everyone in the conference so I'm hopeful that conference play will go well.

University of Oregon
University of Portland

Portland Community College is in their own league with
all the community colleges on the West Coast.

Oregon chance's are slim because they are at the bottom of the PAC-10 (UCLA #9 and Arizona State #14)
Portland may go since third in the WCC (Saint Mary's and Gonzaga #17)

Mason Dominated UNCW in a super smashing revenge from last season's two loses, 101-60!! !!. (Though we smash them in the CAA Championship, this was the massive super smash revenge to the Seahawks)

The Illinois State Redbirds remained undefeated in the Valley and beating Creighton tonight. ISU is more likely to earn the Valley's automatic bid to the big dance.

Mason moves to 10-3 and remained undefeated in CAA Play, 3-0 upon beating GA State 58-52.

Mason is 11-3 now upon beating Towson 71-59 and continue the undefeated streak in CAA play 4-0 along with Northeastern.
