I have tried to hide it in the past with horrible results. I am on the fence when it comes to getting/keeping a job
it works out for awhile and then when the symptoms get bad I soon find myself without work.
Is anyone else in the boat I'm in wanting to work but the symptoms are just too strong.
The worst part is trying to convince my doctor how bad it really is and desperately wanting medication for it.
How much better has medication made you feel?
Like me have your symptoms become worse as you got older?
On a fun note what crazy (fun, risky) things has your Bipolar,ADD,ADHD,etc made you want to do?

I had bad ADD in school, but it went away after with all the stress of studying gone. Never took any meds. My friend with ADD lit a match in class once, and another guy was drinking beer from a juice bottle

I was a very hyperactive kid. I used to run around all the time, and talk to adults in the neighborhood. I was very chatty. Mom says teachers suspected I had ADHD. My therapist recently said I've had untreated ADHD all my life, and the psychiatrists were reluctant to prescribe adhd meds for focus since they thought I had purely schizophrenia, well with the addition of adhd medication I feel great. I am on the new adderall, but at a low dose. It doesn't last long and could be fatal if abused. I wish she had mentioned that, but I looked it up. The only thing I noticed was a lot of repressed compulsions surfaced and yet in a couple days I've managed to see the light. I was constantly fatigued, sleeping from 2 am to 2 pm and then I was also not reading, and not working on anything. I may want to increase it. But one great thing is I stopped clenching my fists and fidgeting constantly, and I feel better. I'm hoping it's not due to anything else other than adhd. I don't think I really have AS too bad, but I did used to replay movies in my head. My brother apparently thought that was normal, lol.
