Ever since I was about 15 years old, I've been hearing God talk to me. He tells me to do things all the time, and it makes me feel annoyed and confused. He tells me to do odd things like waiting to do something later or to pick things on the right. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing. I also have times when I have racing thoughts and I want to say gibberish things. Just last night I was muttering random things to myself, and it makes me wonder if there is something wrong with me. Am I overthinking this? I hope you guys can give me some good advice.

If you don't recognize the "talking" as coming from your own mind, then no, that isn't normal.

I talk to God and He talk back. Does that mean I'm a crazy person, or that I'm somehow connected to God?

your description is consistent with a 'thought disorder'....there may be other explanations, such as organic changes in your cerebrum

HOWEVER....we cannot provide what you really need.....you DO NEED a professional assessment

have you seen a Psychiatrist?

please answer me :)

Have you considered looking up Scientifically proven things that prove Religion wrong, like Evolution? Because if you can realize that God doesn't exist, then maybe you'd be one step closer to discovering the reason this is happening. While you believe in God and think that God is actually communicating with you, I don't see how this situation can be resolved. The belief in God is very powerful and can make people do things they normally wouldn't, even bad things because they believe in justified if they do it on God's name. Just don't let people talk you into believing you're talking with a being that people literally made up a few thousand years ago for the purpose of power and money.

I am a Christian, and I believe that God exists, and that he can "speak" to people. But it's not a physically audible voice. It's more like you read the bible and gain insight kind of thing. And also God is not about confusing people. I do think you have something going on that you should bring up with a psychological professional.

A lot of people with mental illness share symptoms but that doesn't mean you have to go to a psychiatrist - I know first hand they can be not so great.
