Based on what you describe, they are probably stims that are done subconsciously. Can you stop the behavior once you know you are doing it? I’m just curious. If it is involuntary, you would not likely be able to or only for a little while.

Once I know what I'm doing I can stop , if it's a stress position it's too painful not to stop now I'm older and have bad joints  As for things like leg bouncing , foot waggling , grinding my teeth etc , I can stop but if feels too nice to stop so I don't until it's run it's course unless I become too self conscious about it ( i.e in public ). I'm wagging my feet as I'm typing so I just tried to stop wagging , my body felt weird when I stopped so I started again and everything cool again

Yeah that’s stimming alright. There is a difference between stimming and things like tics or compulsions, even if it is sometimes hard to tell the difference.

Are you aware when your Mohawk emerges?

Sometimes I forget. Do you know when someone looks at you in a strange way and you have no way of knowing what it means so your mind make a list of reasons for the look , I tell myself it's my hair to stop my mind from whirring into overdrive

People will often look at you out of sheer boredom.

Only yesterday I was driving out of a car park and a woman couldn't take her eyes off me , she was transfixed ( I had sunglasses on so she couldn't tell I knew she was looking at her ). My GF said she was just probably checking me out , it seemed more intense than that to me ( I don't have a pink Mohawk at the moment , driving is difficult with a Mohawk , first world problems  ) This is not an isolated incident.
