Schizophrenia and my reading (or thinking) ability
is there a good reason why you need to be on that powerful antipsychotic drug?
there are other antipsychotics that can work that are milder, and what are your symptoms of "schizophrenia"
many people are falsely diagnosed with schizophrenia, because of the power of the pharmaceutical industry and lobbyists, drug reps influencing doctors, unethical doctors, etc.
I didn't know that Olanzapine was a powerful drug. Maybe that's why my doctor didn't give any serious comments or just kinda shrugged it off when I told him this reading/thinking problem. I'll try to tell him again on my next appointment.
I'm taking 5mg Olanzapine (plus 20mg Fluoxetine) now, in the beginning I took 20mg Olanzapine and doctor reduced it gradually after some time.
My schizophrenia was like I felt someone/something wanted to control me or to harm me. Felt like this environment surrounding me was dangerous and I felt fearful and kept trying to avoid or run away. I was really afraid of those thunders/lightnings voices during normal thunderstorms, like they were going to do evil to me.
I also had very bizarre or strange thoughts, felt like someone/something was putting those thoughts to my mind (I half-believe that they were really from a god or some other beings).
I was sent to mental hospital after I refused/was afraid to eat and nearly couldn't sleep for 2 weeks.
I also had (and still have) a feeling that this world didn't appear random (didn't conform to law of chances/probabilities), but maybe this wasn't a schizophrenia symptom.

aspies tend to need to keep up with health processes, I think.
I did a blood test 9 months ago. Blood glucose/cholesterols, blood count/profile, urinalysis, liver/kidney/thyroid/bone-joint functions. Nothing was wrong, only that my Blood pressure was 140/85.

Just btw ....doctors usually use common blood chemistry ( cbc)s as a inferior standard of care ...And the labs they use are budget labs..found out the hard way .. Eventually found a doctor that was actually interested in helping their patients ..Was reccomended to pay out of pocket for a much more comphrehensive lab testing business . Much more analysis on stuff in the blood. Had almost a lifetime of poor quality medical treatment .Got me on a better path for my healthcare ..( but I can now pretty accurately read most blood reports). Might look up a infectious disease doc, but that is " NO" guarrantee you will get a good one .Had suspicions from early on, that nutrition plays a very big role .
Found yet another doc , who was trying to retire and had a large amount of his career as a ER doc .. Turns out i was right . He placed me on a group of supplements , used strategically ....And I got much better. After the last good Doc passed on , have been using what he taught me ....to try to maintain ..A pretty heavily damaged body from previous mishaps and poor quality care . He passed on , at a ripe old age. But have outlived most of the people I knew in High school . Did not make friends at college though . Managing your health can be a handful .PS he did occassionally but rarely prescribe a actual prescription. Only used per his testing
