You answered you own question there , you know it's bad to use your computer before bed , it can really disrupt your sleeping patterns especially if you obsess over things. It's almost impossible for me to do so I'm a hypocrite for saying this but you need to have a good sleep hygiene routine.

Yeah. I'm going to definitely get off a long time before bed. Thanks Ferris- do you think you could tell the OCD part of my brain that  ?

:wall:

Also don't use your phone in bed in the dark - very bad , something to do with the light stimulation

Definitely. I'm going to just try reading a book.

I find that relaxing music is useful to quiet down my inner dialogue , something with no vocals - meditation type music

In fact I've used this several times to good effect although I wouldn't suggest to listening to all of it as it 8 freaking hours long

Today I'm doing a bit better- I woke up once in the middle of the night, but other than that I was ok. I'm still concerned, especially because I have had some unwanted existential/paranoid thoughts lately and I feel like I'm about to lose it. I feel like I'm losing insight because I just feel a little "clouded" recently. I am going to exercise more today as well. Thanks for the advice though Ferris :D .

I hope you continue to do better, Stampy. A few years ago, I was convinced that I'd already lost it, and it's not something I'd wish on anyone.

Thank you so much! I'm doing really bad right now after looking something up on Google. Google is like the devil for people with OCD lol. I'm really worried, but I'm hoping all the weird thoughts and feelings go away soon. Thanks for your support, though :D .

By the way Ferris- I love your new avatar

Yup! Google sucks when it comes to OCD, especially hypochondria :D

It's hard to believe that there's such a thing as too much knowledge

I'm ok dude , glad your feeling a little better. Watching the whole Ferret thing unfold in real time was a little bit surreal to be honest and a good laugh even though I thought I was losing my mind a bit , I've never seen Booyakasha post till today ( or was it yesterday ) and they have a great sense of humour but what they might not know is Ferrets never forget and believe revenge is a dish best served cold :skull: .

This whole "ferret" thing has really confused me and made me laugh at the same time. I've never seen Booyakasha until today either. Don't feel like you're losing your mind; I've felt like that all day too and it sucks! Best quote I've ever read online was "If you think you're going crazy, you can be sure you're not" because people who truly go that route lack insight. Ferrets are just awesome :D . SaveFerrets

Lol "ferrets never forget"

I'm sorry guys, if all this ferret thing has made you feel confused, like you're losing your mind or something similar; I have an important exam coming up and joking here helps me relax. :)

Don't worry about it- I'm loving this whole thing too! It's really helped me the past few days to be able to joke around because I spend all my time obsessing and crying because I can't sleep without waking up  . Joking helps everyone relax- I'm really enjoying this :D .

I'm very happy to hear that! :D It helps me too. Laughing is the best therapy! But I'm sorry if you have sleeping issues, hope it gets better for you.

Nope, no hints at all of any form of OCD round these parts... I will move on
